At the end of the movie Castaway…?
Why do you think Tom Hanks (Chuck Nolan) was driving around with a volleyball in his front seat. I like to think that it was a way to honour or stay connected to his lost “friend”…who of course wasn’t real, and just his own imagination, but it kept him alive, and it was very real to him….and wow I cried when he lost him…but I digress…
It may be sort of a way to connect with Wilson but also maybe he keeps it around just in case something like that happens again. That is a great movie. It kind of helped me get over a girl (I know it’s corny). But tomorrows another day, and you never know what the tide will bring in…something like that
