Who do you think would be the best cast for Dan Brown’s Angels and Demons?

If Angels and Demons(also known as Illuminati)ever became a movie,I think this would be the best cast:
Robert Langdon-Tom Hanks(I don’t think it Would be right to put another actor now that he did the da vinci code)
Vera Vetra-Monica Bellucci(She’s Italian,as the character, and she seems to fit enough well the movie OR Jennifer Lopez,if Bellucci couldn’t,she’s also great and seems nice for the role…
Carlo Ventresca-”I haven’t thought anybody,any help”
Olivetti-Vinnie Jones,would be great for the role
Maximillian Kohler-Ben Kingsley or Patrick Stewart
Assassin-Oded Fehr(From the Mummy & Resident Evil 2-He’d be good cuz he’s arabian,as the character)
ANYONE AGREE?? ,OR:ANY OTHER OPINIONS????

Even though I don’t think Tom Hanks looks anything like Robert Langdon, I still can’t see another actor playing that role.

I think you are spot on with Monica Bellucci as Vittoria! However, I’m not so sure about the chemistry between her and Hanks. Otherwise, I would like to see Catherine Zeta-Jones on the big screen with Hanks again. She’s not Italian, but I’m sure she could look and sound like it. If you need to stick to Italian actresses, then maybe Maria Grazia Cucinotta who was a Bond girl in The World Is Not Enough. No matter what, the actress needs to be attractive just like all of the women Langdon becomes interested in.

For Carlo, I imagine someone who would seem helpful, but obviously would have to totally change in the end. Perhaps a big name like Al Pacino or Robert DeNiro.

I think Vinnie Jones is too big to play Commander Olivetti. When I picture Olivetti, I think of a skinny guy, but a strong and smart guy. Obviously, this person is going to have to be Italian as well. Perhaps Raoul Bova? Maybe someone older since Olivetti was the Head of the Swiss guards. Giancarlo Giannini?

Bruno Ganz would make a great Kohler.

Hassassin should be played by Naveen Andrews. Oded Fehr would be okay too.
