What other movies do you think I’d like?

Based on these top movies I like, do you have any suggestions for others?

As can probably be seen from my top picks, some of my favorite actors are/were Heath Ledger and Ryan Gosling. I also loved James MacAvoy and Keira Knightley in Atonement. Tom Hanks is also an amazing actor. I do like the romantic movies, but I’m also very into drama. I particularly like historical movies, taking place in the ’20′s to 40′s, (Atonement, Forrest Gump, The Notebook)but not necessarily made during that time. If you had any suggestions or comments, I would greatly appreciate it!

Rushmore – Max Fischer is a more than determined student at his prep school, Rushmore Academy where he oversees anything with the word “extra-curricular”. He befriends a preschool teacher named Ms. Cross, whom he ends up falling in love with. Only to find things take a turn for the worst when his mentor, Herman Blume, an unhappy millionaire falls for her as well. As a result, their personal and professional lives spiral out of control.

This is a great off-beat humor (sort of like Little Miss Sunshine or Juno). It’s one of those gems everyone seems to miss.

The Green Mile – Death Row guards at a penitentiary, in the 1930′s, have a moral dilemma with their job when they discover one of their prisoners, a convicted murderer, has a special gift.

Tom Hanks at his best. I think you’ll love it.
