Tom Hanks Best Actor Oscar Films
Okay…….let’s settle this……who deserved the Oscar that Year? ?
The Year Tom Hanks won the Oscar for Forrest Gump, the OTHER two actors up for Best Actor…..were Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman, BOTH, for The Shawshank Redemption. The fact that they were BOTH up for it, speaks for itself how GREAT that film was!
So out of those 3……..who do you think REALLY deserved the Oscar that year? I think Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman were totally ROBBED that year….not that Hanks didn’t deserve it either. What do you think?

Yeah…that suggestive category stuff is WACK.
I think that Tom Hanks was excellent…but his best movie is by far the Green Mile.
Yes, I too think that Robbins and Freeman were robbed, but there is Hollywood!
Personally, I would have picked Tim Robbins…Morgan Freeman is amazing in all of his movies, but Tim is still my choice.
