Are there any loopholes at airports like in the movie “Terminal”?
if you have ever watched the movie “terminal”, you know that Tom Hanks’ character gets stuck inside the airport and can’t go home or leave the airport. are their other loopholes like this one? where people get stuck at airports and can’t go home or outside? or even ones where people get in to the airport but then don’t get on their flight (for whatever reason) and have to stay in the airport? anything like that would help. I dont need specific cases, either. just like things that could happen to anyone in the present (not like 20 yrs ago). and they have to be in US airports (specifically illinois). Thanks a million!
Not any more. Since the incident that movie was based on, the system will not allow that any more. They would be detained by US immigration before being admitted into the airport at large and they would be taken into custody until something could be figured out to do with them.
Or they would be returned to where their flight originated from for not having valid travel documents.
