Tom Hanks Big Alternate Ending

Anyone have the alternate Ending for Tom Hanks “Big”?

I KNOW I am not crazy! This was discussed under the question: “The film BIG with Tom Hanks……..?” and it is marked as resolved, but it’s really not. Nothing is found at Youtube, but IMDB and Wikipedia mention that it is “rumored” to have this alternate ending. I clearly remember seeing him as a kid in a classroom in the last scene with a “new” girl starting class, that was supposedly the lady that fell in love with him when he was BIG. If you go to: http://www.ultimatedisney.com/big.html and search for “alternate” it says, “the final 15 minutes or so are identical to the theatrical cut, surely to the dismay of those who (perhaps incorrectly) remember an alternate ending.” What does “perhaps incorrectly” mean?! Wouldn’t they KNOW??? I’ve read that it is the New Zealand copy that’s different… how was I able to see that when I was a 13 year old kid in a small town in the US of A? Someone has to have a copy of it. Please POST on youtube and reply here with the link. Thanks!

Forums have speculated recently that there will be a “Special Edition” release of the film on DVD – which will have the alternative ending featured in the “Extras”. Fingers crossed because I’d like to see it myself!
