Conan O’Brien Is Back, Quirkier than Ever

Detroit MI COCO fans, who enjoyed the Conan O’Brien debut?

It was a hard hit to Conan when he moved his whole crew and family to Los Angeles to take over the Tonight Show, only for it to be cancelled only 5 months later.

The war between hosts and networks began.

Very quickly there became a huge online following “TEAM Coco” as Conan’s fans all joined the fight, trying to keep their favorite Late Night host. As a result, fans now have a website for everything Conan at TeamCoco.com.

Finally after months of wondering what will happen to Conan O’Brien and his comedic stunts and skits, it was announced that TBS would be taking on Conan and his crew starting in November.

On November 8, the much anticipated Conan O’Brien returned to Late Night television. The first sketch was called “The Last Season on Conan”, which featured different celebrities like Seth Rogen. The rest of the hour was complete with lots of different comedic sketches Conan is known for.

Detroit MI Conan viewers will be interested to know that over the coming weeks celebrities like Tom Hanks, Soundgarden, Jon Hamm, Michael Cera, Russell Brand, Venus Williams and Harrison Ford will be visiting with Conan.

Some said his show was the typical Conan Obrien while other believed it was refreshing to have him back on the air. According to Entertainment Weekly online, Conan’s debut rated at a 2.8 rating meaning about 3.25 million viewers. The show following Conan, George Lopez Tonight, had a 1.1 rating. Some feel that Conan did not have a turn out as big a expected especially when looking at his COCO following.
