what part or parts of the movie philidelphia moved you the most, and why?
the two sequences that stick out for me are:
the opera scene after the gay party, when tom hanks is translating, and says “i hurt all those who love me”, and denzel washington’s character is slowing becoming more, sympathetic.
and the other scene is after the funeral, when the camera moves through the room, to the tv show old home movies, and it makes you think “this is what his family will be thinking about”
it was the thought of his mother particularly that i found sad though, what she would be going through.

when the Lawyer played by Washington, struggles with deciding to take or not take the case.
