Tom Hanks Island Movie

Can isolation cause “Dementia” much the same way as in the Tom Hanks movie “Castaway”?
if i remember right the storyline in the movie was Tom Hanks crashing a Fed EX plane onto a deserted island and he was able to survive on this island for 10 years? and during that time he slowly became “Demented” ? was this due to his isolation? and WHAT IS DEMENTIA? WHAT PEOPLE BECOME LIKE DURING IT? and was the case with Tom Hanks a good description of what a person with dementia becomes like ? and why, how isolation or what causes this? (even at ANY age?) also, why do older people get this often times?
please describe, explain what you can
thanks for your answers!
ALSO, IS THERE ANY CURE FOR “DEMENTIA”? IF SO, WHAT? HOW IT IS?
HOW WAS TOM HANKS CURED IN THE MOVIE? AND WHY?
Hi
If i remember in the motion picture, a fed Ex plane crashed into the sea, Mr hanks was washed up by chance on a desserted island for 4 years.
If i may ask, what brought you to the conclusion that he was demented, Tom Hanks in my opinion did not display any of the symptoms of dementia, even when he was rescued and returned home.
To be demented is a label, which describes someone who may be depraved, mad foolish or in another persons eyes are displaying in their actions such behaviour.
Dementia is an illness of the brain. in specific some diagnostic conclusions may suggest they have alzheimers, symptoms vary, forgetfullness, repeating actons, placing household item innapropriatley, such as scissors in the fridge, are to name but a few, the onset can occur as early as the mid forties, it is a debillitating illness, which can eventually lead to death at the end of its advanced stages,
There is no known cure for dementia, only a slowing or such like remission.
Tom Hanks was not cured in the movie, because he didnt have the ill ness in the first place
Regards

Road to Perdition [Music from the Motion Picture] $10.39 Director Sam Mendes’s much-anticipated follow-up to his Academy Award®-winning American Beauty found him exploring the period gangster film–but with a moral fiber and undercurrent of family tragedy familiar from his Oscar® triumph. As he did with Beauty, Mendes again wisely entrusts the film’s music to Tom Newman, a composer with an instinctive knack for getting inside a film’s characters via i… |

Pearl Harbor (Two-Disc 60th Anniversary Commemorative Edition) $5.45 To call Pearl Harbor a throwback to old-time war movies is something of an understatement. Director Michael Bay’s epic take on the bombing that brought the United States into World War II hijacks every war movie situation and cliché (some affectionate, some stale) you’ve ever seen and gives them a shiny, glossy spin until the whole movie practically gleams. Planes glisten, water sparkles, trees b… |
