Whether or not you have seen the previous two Toy Story films, this one is sure to delight. Toy Story 3 is being released by Walt Disney, but is produced by Pixar Animation Studios. The scheduled release date is June 18, 2010 in the United States while it is set for the 23rd of July in the Republic of Ireland and the UK.

It picks up with Andy, voiced by John Morris, as a 17 year old who is ready to leave for college. While Andy has every intention of keeping Woody (Tom Hanks) with him when he leaves, he decides to box up the other toys and store them in the attic.
It is only days before Andy is due to leave and the toys are concerned about what will happen to them in his absence. Somehow, Andy’s mother throws them away by accident and that’s where the adventure begins. Jessie, the voice of Joan Cusack, convinces the toys that they should take matters into their own hands and convinces the others to become stowaways in a container of donated toys destined for the Sunnyside Daycare.

Once at the Daycare, the toys meet new friends (toys) and become involved in life at their new ‘home.’ At some point the toys discover that Andy never meant to throw them away and they decide to help Woody get back to him before he leaves. A series of mishaps culminates in Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) getting injured. Without his friend Buzz in any shape to help him, Woody must rely on the others to help get him back to Andy. Does he make it in time?
